Lisbon Costume Museum
If you've ever wondered what the costumes of an ancient royal court looked like, here you can find out.
National Costume Museum
The National Costume Museum in Lisbon, established in 1977, holds an important collection of clothing. Among the highlights are royal court costumes dating back to the 18th century.

The National Costume Museum also features a permanent exhibition dedicated to textile technology, as well as temporary exhibitions related to the museum's theme.
Formerly, its collection was housed in the Coach Museum, which held around 7,000 costumes belonging to Portuguese royalty.
