Cais da Pedra
Gourmet burgers with river views.
Cais da Pedra
The Restaurante Cais da Pedra is a project by acclaimed Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, and the specialty is gourmet burgers.
It is located on the banks of the Tagus, opposite the metro station Santa Apolónia. In the area of the neighborhood of Alfama.
It has a pleasant industrial-style space, spacious and well lit.

As a starter, the house serves fresh bread, olives, olive oil, and freshly made, tender meat croquettes. In addition to beef, fish, and vegetarian burgers, there are sides such as baked potatoes, rice, or salads.
The drinks list is extensive, and beyond the spirits and cocktails — which can be enjoyed at the bar near the entrance or at an indoor or outdoor table — there are milkshakes, various types of tea, coffee, soft drinks, and the delicious house tea.
For dessert we recommend the New York-style cheesecake and the rice pudding with caramelized apple and port wine.
The centerpiece of the venue is the kitchen, fronted by a large glass window through which you can watch the chefs hard at work.
They have high chairs for babies and coloring sheets to keep the little ones entertained.
Next to this restaurant are Café Delidelux and Pizzeria Casanova, one of our favorite restaurants in Lisbon.
