Pavilhão do Conhecimento
Science and technology museum for the whole family.
Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Centro Ciência Viva
The Pavilhão do Conhecimento in Lisbon is a museum dedicated to science and technology, designed especially for children and young people.
All its areas are interactive, some permanent and others temporary.

Among the permanent exhibits is the "Explora" gallery, described by physicist Frank Oppenheimer as a "true forest of natural phenomena." It features 40 interactive modules that you can explore on your own or with the help of museum staff.

Some of the most popular areas in the permanent exhibition are the "Unfinished House," where children can build with rubber pieces; the table for molding mountains and understanding how altitudes and colors work on a map; the bicycle six meters off the ground; and the laser harp.

The Pavilhão do Conhecimento Science Museum is located within the Park of Nations, just a few meters from the Lisbon Oceanarium. Both are highly recommended if you're visiting Lisbon with kids.
