Jardim Da Estrela

This garden, known as Jardim Da Estrela , also called Jardim Guerra Junqueiro, was built in 1842 with donations from Portuguese royalty. The space was inspired by the English Romantic style and features abundant greenery.
What to See at Jardim da Estrela
The Jardim da Estrela, one of the most beautiful parks in the city of Lisbon, features an open-air terrace perfect for clearing your head. Two café kiosks, two well-equipped and popular playgrounds, a library kiosk, two duck-filled lakes, and a nursery.
At the center of the garden stands a beautiful bandstand (coreto) crafted in iron, ready for philharmonic bands, great photos, and visual enjoyment.
Around the entire park there are public exercise stations, generally used by older neighborhood residents who visit the park every morning.
Jardim da Estrela is perfect for a quiet Sunday, an afternoon picnic, a simple children's birthday party on a blanket, or a trip to let the kids play.
