Guincho is one of the beaches best known among young Lisboetas; famous for its waves, great atmosphere, and especially its proximity to Cascais.
All year round, thrill-seekers from around the world come to tame the waves, which at this beach are renowned for their wild nature. The beach is wide, with sand that shifts constantly due to the strong wind.
On the beach itself there are no beach bars or facilities, but just a short distance away there are a couple of restaurants and a campsite.
